📌 About the Role:
The Clinical Terminologist position at Truveta focuses on healthcare terminology mapping, clinical data normalization, EHR intelligence development, and supporting healthcare AI and machine learning workflows.

Selected candidates will work with large-scale healthcare datasets and clinical systems while contributing to advanced healthcare intelligence platforms powered by real-world evidence and Electronic Health Record (EHR) data.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Standardize healthcare data collected from multiple healthcare systems
• Map medical concepts to standardized terminologies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, and RxNorm
• Validate terminology mappings and maintain clinical data standards
• Support healthcare AI and machine learning workflows
• Maintain terminology documentation and perform quality assurance checks
• Collaborate with cross-functional healthcare, AI, analytics, and informatics teams
• Support healthcare interoperability and structured clinical intelligence initiatives
• Ensure accurate normalization of medical and clinical terminology datasets

🛠 Required Qualifications:
• Education in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Informatics, Medical Coding, or related healthcare fields
• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare terminology mapping or medical coding
• Experience with SNOMED CT, RxNorm, and LOINC terminology systems
• Understanding of EHR systems, SOAP notes, laboratory reports, and clinical workflows
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
• Ability to work with healthcare data normalization and coding workflows
