Position Details:
Prophecy Technologies is looking for a hands-on CloudOps / Cloud Services Contractor with 6+ years of experience to support production cloud environments across AWS and GCP.
The role requires strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, production support, networking, identity and access management, infrastructure as code, monitoring, incident management, and automation. Candidates should have hands-on experience with AWS EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, GCP GCE/VMs, Cloud SQL, and AlloyDB.
The engineer will work with VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, firewall rules, DNS, connectivity troubleshooting, VPC peering, private endpoints/PSC, AWS IAM, and GCP IAM. Knowledge of least-privilege security and PAM concepts is also required.
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience are essential. Additional exposure to CloudFormation, CloudWatch, GCP Monitoring and Logging, Splunk, Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, and Bash will support the role.
